As the "Go-To" caterer in the Coastal Virginia area for more than 27 years, The Gourmet Gang has built an unmatched reputation for producing distinctive events and providing high quality, handcrafted menus that are as creative as they are delicious.

We are seeking highly motivated staff in a variety of positions:

• Dishwasher-this position includes the duties of washing dishes, trash disposal, Loading and unloading the truck on and off site. The Dishwasher is the general helping hand for the event.
• Server-a server is responsible for food service. They are the front line for the customer., They must possess the skills necessary to take orders from the guests and the captains. Their duties include but are not limited to set-up and break down of the event, clearing and setting tables and passing hors d'oeuvres.
• Beverage server-The main responsibility of this position is the Service of beverages. The beverage server must also possess the skills necessary to set-up and break down bar set-ups (tea, water, coffee included). A beverage server must possess the skills necessary to poor and open wine and champagne, they must also possess tray handling skills
• Bartender-The responsibilities of the bartender include but are not limited to full bar set-up and break down. The bartender must have excellent mixology training/experience along with champagne and wine opening and pouring skills. They must have also mastered the skill of Beverage Server.
• Kitchen-this position includes and is not limited to plating and replenishing of food, warming, garnish, knowledge of GG food and presentation.
• Carver-this position is a specialty position that includes but is not limited to set-up and break down of the carving station, carving meat for service, carving station with customer interaction and, knife skills. They must have also mastered skill of Kitchen.
• Display/Presentation this is another specialty position it includes but is not limited to, set-up and breakdown of all food displays, knowledge of GG presentation for all displays and ice cream social. Creativity is a must as this position directly affects how the customer perceives Gourmet Gang. They must also have mastered skills of Kitchen and Carver.
• Flip-(the one man show), they must have mastered skills of Server, Beverage Server and must possess the qualities necessary to deliver and set-up food and beverage. This position has direct interaction with the customers and typically is a one hour set-up with delivery.
• Set-up-manual labor, knowledge of simple tools, table sets, tents, moving skills
• Driver-ability to drive large delivery truck, valid license, insurance
• Captain-Must have mastered skills of server, beverage server, kitchen, carver, display, flip. Must also possess the skills necessary to direct a small staff and be the go-to person for the client.
